Rolling Tail started with a feeling I knew all too well.
For years, I lived in rented apartments in big cities. Every time I changed jobs, I packed up my life and moved again. Some places were tiny studios, some had awkward layouts, and some barely had enough storage for everyday essentials.
They were all different, but they shared one thing in common: they never truly felt like home.
I worried about losing my deposit. I didn't want to drill holes, damage walls, or spend money on bulky furniture I might not be able to take with me. So I adapted. I lived around the limitations.
Over time, I started treating home as just a place to sleep between workdays—a temporary stop, not a place that belonged to me.
But I don't think that's how it should be.
Renting doesn't mean you should settle for living out of boxes.
Living in a small apartment doesn't mean giving up comfort, privacy, or the feeling that your space reflects who you are.
And temporary doesn't mean disposable.
